Mary McCormack
Mary McCormack was an American actor best known for her performances as a main character on TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Mary McCormack has been renowned for her role in the movies 'Private Parts as well as 'Deep Insanity,' 'True Crime,' and 1408'. McCormack was the daughter of an owner of an ice-cream shop as well as an a psychologist in clinical practice. Their family has no connections to the entertainment industry. McCormack attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following her parents' divorce in 1990, she went to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She graduated in the Bachelor of Arts program in comparative art. When she was 12 the actress began acting in the production of Christmas musical "Amahl and the Night Visitors". She continued to play in the theatre, and eventually landed roles on both the smaller and big screens. Today, McCormack is recognized as one of the most flexible performers in Hollywood. She has three daughters who are with her husband, director/producer Michael Morris.
