Bella Poarch's biological Filipino parents had her in the Philippines, on February 9 1997. Her grandmother lived in the areas of slums for three years until she turned 3 years old. She was then adopted. Her adoptive father is a white American with military experience as is her adoptive mother, who is Filipino. The woman claims she as well as her brother, adopted as an infant, suffered abuse before they joined the military. Her family travelled to San Francisco for a few months in order to stay with her aunt, before relocating to Texas when she was 13 due the need of her father to have a bypass procedure. Her father did not take action to stop the abuse psychologically, even though she claims that physical violence had diminished. She joined at the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch opened her TikTok account in April of 202020. The account grew quickly to stardom, accumulating over 40 million followers within less than eight months. Poarch posted numerous videos. But her most enduring hit is a music video for Millie B's popular hit track Soph Aspin Send. A zoomed-in clip of her synchronized lip-syncing to the song and leaping into the song became a viral clip that has since become TikTok's most popular video. Following her joining TikTok she started an account on YouTube as well as a Twitter account to take advantage of her fame. Poarch attained her height of fame in December 2020. Poarch was reportedly the subject of interest of two major professionals Esports teams. FaZe Clan & 100 Thieves each expressed interest in bringing on the creator of content to work under their respective brand.
